The Nucleus Innovation Center is located on Market Street in the heart of downtown Louisville, adjacent to the city’s bugeoning medical community. It is an eight-story, 197,000 square foot structure that offers state of the art adaptable office spaces and dry labs to startup companies. The center is also be home to the Center for Lifelong Wellness and Aging Care and the International Center for Long Term Care Innovation. This exciting new development is a catalyst for economic development and innovation throughout the region.
In June 2014, the Kentucky U.S. Green Building Council recognized The Nucleus Innovation Center for achieving Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) silver certification. Environmentally friendly features of The Nucleus Innovation Center include a green rooftop terrace, smart HVAC and energy-management systems, and motion-activated lights and plumbing in all restrooms.
